Jimmy Sturgeon

Well, he likes fishin’ a’course.  It’s said he once wrestled a 1,100-pound sturgeon outta the Fraser River using mostly his bare hands.  But after 9 hours of monster wrangling, he had to jimmy a winch to his fishin’ rod for the final reel in – hence, the name, Jimmy Sturgeon.

Later that year, he nearly lost an eye to a goldfish while changing his daughter’s aquarium water and hung up his fishin’ rod for 88 keys instead and joined “Land Ho” – a Sea Shanty band.  It was during this time that Jimmy and SHAG’s stars crossed at an international Sea Shanty competition – Jimmy’s keys were like a siren to SHAG the Band and he is now the anchor of their ship, keeping them steady as she goes.
